Evan's 1st grade math curriculum is teaching him to tell time. Today's page had some pictures and some clocks. He was supposed to pick which clock went with each picture. The picture of the kid waking up had three clocks, 11:00, 6:00, or 12:00. I had to explain that some people actually do wake up at 6am! The next picture was a kid doing math. The clocks said 11:00, 4:00 and 6:00. There wasn't a choice for "Any of the above." LOL

ROFL!! We had a similar problem with a telling time book from the library. It said something like "8:00, time for school!" and then "11:00 time for recess!" and finally "3:00, time to ride the bus home!" LOL, we just substituted with what we generally did at those times and it usually ended up being, "well sometimes we... and sometimes we..." LOL
