Do bugs think? I'm not sure. After all, their heads are so tiny, there's no room for a thinking brain in there. The boys seem to think our caterpillars are thinking about their new life in "Bug Heaven," so named b/c the little buggers must be estatic to have fresh leaves handed to them every day and be protected from hungry birds. But, I'm not so sure. *If* they think, I imagine them wondering what happened to their homey tree and clawing desperately on the slick plastic sides of their new home. Except, now most of them are in cocoons!! So, if they're thinking, it's just to figure out how to become a moth. We have over a dozen cocoons and only a few caterpillars not in cocoons.
We had our year-end co-op picnic yesterday. Of course, I remembered to take my camera. Of course, I forgot to take pictures! LOL But Crystal has some great pics on her blog if you want to check them out. The poor unsocialized homeschoolers somehow managed to have fun together and there was not a denim jumper to be seen. ;)
