A New Friend

Poor Clifford! Evan has dumped him for a new literary dog friend. I got some Henry and Mudge books at the last homeschool picnic we attended. Evan and I have read and reread those two books and now, he's discovered the Henry and Mudge shelf at the library!! We checked out a few of those, but it shouldn't take him long to get through them. Luckily, he likes to read the same books over and over so he should be happy for a while.

After the library this morning, we stopped by the sprayground. Our local park has the most awesome water feature. The water shoots up from about a dozen fountains and the kids have a great time splashing through them. Since public schools are still in session, the sprayground was practically deserted today. There were just two other kids there when we arrived and they were toddlers. Matthew offered to share his water toys right away but then got offended when the other little boy accepted! LOL I would say we need to work on sharing. But since Matthew is just two, I think the original generosity is a good start. LOL

You know, I used to have a lot of those Mudge books. I loaned them to someone (not you)and never got them back. Josh also loved the Nate the Great series, try them.
