B-I-N-G-O

Evan is constantly asking to play a game so this morning I got out one of the $1 books that I ordered from Scholastic. We tried the Bingo Math. I used my scanner to make copies of the subtraction bingo cards. I know it would be easy enough to make bingo cards myself. But for $1, I have professional looking cards for every math topic you can imagine. The kids loved it. Evan took a few minutes to warm up. He doesn't usually like anything new but he warmed up to this game pretty quickly. Even Matthew was learning from this. He pulled the extra chips out of the bag and handed them to whichever player was using that color. When we were done playing, Adam set up some groups so he could practice sorting by color. He was doing quite well for a just-turned-two-year-old!!

No way. You got your Scholastic stuff already? That was F-A-S-T.

And I know what you mean. I've bought stuff that I've known I could make, but it's cheaper overall I guess when you consider the cost of printing and time. Boy, howdy, things take time sometimes. (What a horrible sentence that was. LOL)

Love the previous post about the turtle, by the way. =D
