It started like any other day, with a load of laundry and a load of dishes. But I didn't get to sit down at the computer or watch HGTV after that. I had to do science... and language... and math. Plus, our homeschool co-op starts tomorrow and I'm trying to make sure all the classes have teachers.
Math was so hard today. Ryan started algabraic equations. Usually math is way too easy for him so when this didn't immediately jump into his brain, he became a whiney complainer. He actually knew the answers but couldnt' get the steps to get to the answers. I really want him to know the steps b/c those problems are going to get to a point where he won't know the answers on auto pilot. He finally did "get it"... after he stopped trying to work from the answer back.
Evan was in a rush to get through his subjects. It seems he was under the impression that he could play video games if he whipped through school, whether he did a good job or not.
To add to the confusion, Matthew followed me around all day. He's been used to 24/7 Mommy time. He was not happy to have to wait while I was busy with three other kids.
It's almost 4:30 now. School is done. The last load of laundry is in the dryer. Spaghetti sauce is simmering on the stove. Tomorrow is another day.
