Bad Teacher

Adam received the game Apples to Apples for Christmas. We were all playing the other night when Adam drew a card with some hard (to him) words on it. He pronounced the words wrong. He shouldn't have. They weren't tricky words. But still, he read them wrong. And from that point on, he (and I) received lots of good natured ribbing about his teacher.

That happens every single time one of my kids does something stupid or makes a silly mistake. It all becomes the fault of their "teacher" and it's always said in jest with a wink and a smile so I can't even get annoyed without looking like a big jerk.

But does this teacher get credit when they do something incredibly clever or utterly brilliant? Um, probably not... we're still waiting for that to happen. ;)

Do you think I offended Ang the other night when I commented on Makayla's teacher? I totally do not even remember what she did. Actually, I think it was something clever and I said she must have a good teacher.
