No matter how good a mood he seems to be enjoying, do NOT attempt to give the two-year-0ld a hair cut at nap time. Not.a.good.idea.

Psalm 127: 3-5 -- Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate

Ha ha! :-)
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I see we have much in common! I have a homeschooling blog and a homekeeping blog as well. I'm not *regular* about posting, but I do it as I have the time. I just love reading about what other homeschoolers are doing out there - a world of great ideas!
And guess what - I just borrowed the sequel "Anne of Avonlea" from the library yesterday. I can't wait to watch it!! Good time for the whole family - although we'll have to watch in installments I think.
Well, I don't have much time here, but I'll check back now and then!
Blessings to you and your family!

Ouch, no, not a good idea!!! Hope you catch him on a (much) happier day!
ROFLMBO I tried this, too!!!!!!!!!!! It *seemed* like a good idea, and there was no way of taking him to the barber shop. So, like, I gave him the world's worst haircut. But, seriously, he looked like a very lovely Rapunzel-y girl.
Fortunately, it grew back. And there are no pictures to ever have to explain to him.
Now, I just take him and let him scream at the hair salon. Whatever. Boy needs haircut.
hahaha too funny. i will keep that in my back pocket for future reference
