Some people think external rewards for reading take the joy out of it. Will the child who reads for rewards continue to read after the pizza runs out? Some people say reading for a reward is not as rewarding as reading for one's self. Therefore, those people don't appreciate Pizza Hut's Book-It program. I say, "Hey, it's free pizza!!"

Yeah...I'm with you! We are SO about the free pizza! Our Pizza Hut even lets us use the certificates for the lunchtime buffet...which is the ONLY way to fill these boys up! We've used this as our one eat-out treat each month...for super cheap!
