I need to manage my time more wisely. Yesterday, I totally wasted Matthew's nap time and ended up holding a fussy baby while we tried to do our table work. Our problem is to many overly long breaks. The boys like to take breaks between every subject and then I get caught up doing something and the breaks go long and then they're involved in something and don't want to stop.
(I think we need to work on run-on sentences in Language tomorrow... oh wait, maybe just me. Most of their sentences are three words or less. )

Today, we took less breaks so we could get our work done early so we wouldn't have to fight the fussy baby. That worked well. We finished Bible, Read-Aloud/History, Math, and table work BEFORE Matthew's nap. And we did it while he was in a good mood and able to entertain himself. So, when he laid down for his nap, we just had to do Science which was fast.

Then the boys had all afternoon to play outside in the snow. Of course, they only spent about 30 minutes out there after we spent 30 minutes trying to find mittens and boots! There wasn't even that much snow!

The boys were up late tonight though. They watched a basketball game with Jeff so they didn't get to bed until after 10pm. Here it is midnight and I'm still sitting at the computer. Looks like late morning tomorrow! Good night!
