We've switched from History to Science this week. The boys like it so much better. They like it so much I can barely read a sentence without someone interrupting me with a question or comment. And the questions are always about what we're reading! That's not usually the case when I get interrupted. LOL
We managed to get every subject done today with a minimum of fuss. Easy days make me nervous. I wonder what we forgot. ;)
We had our second co-op session yesterday. We're studying our state and surrounding states this semester. Yesterday's topic was West Virginia's involvement in the Civil War. There's a couple pictures at Crystal's blog. She's much better at remembering her camera than I am! That's my kid acting goofy in the first picture. I've never seen a scrawnier kid try to show off his muscles! LOL

Oh, so you don't post anything for over two weeks, wait until I give up on you and then post FOUR TIMES since Friday?? Or was it 5? It was more than you posted all summer, at any rate!
So, in summary... I love the vacation pics, especially the first one where they're all lined up. I was literally LOL at the "but it looks like a one and a zero the way you wrote it" conversation! Oh my, that is just hilarious!! Um, what else was I going to say... hm, I forgot. Well, welcome back! LOL.
Oh yeah, the public school thing, lol. Too funny. I don't think our public schools have soccer at all (maybe high school?) so we have a fabulous city league. We've been to games where there are four different teams spread out over the field! Everything from 5s up to teen girls. Gotta love that kind of participation.
I really do like soccer. Thanks for talking me into it. Cameron is such a natural at it and he's really learning how to be a team player. Apparently, at Monday's game (which I ditched), there was this BIG kid who kept getting into everyone's face and pushing because he didn't actually have any real skill, lol. Well, Cam learned (after being pushed over just once) to dodge him and make HIM lose his balance and fall over instead! LOL, the bully kid was apparently pretty mad and kept staring him down but didn't care. It was all for the love of the game. You just don't get that from the Playstation!
The band sounds fun too. You need to bring a video camera and share a jam session with us! ;)
