Wisdom

The Bible warns not to boast of tomorrow. I'll be careful not to boast but we are going to start school tomorrow (Thursday). The schedule is made; the books are ready; the children are resting their brains in preparation. I promised them a pancake breakfast to kick off our school day. We're hoping to finish out this week and work for the next two weeks until our vacation. I know we'll take next Tuesday off for a play date with our homeschool group. But I'm hoping nothing else comes up to throw us off our schedule for the next couple weeks. It's hard to resist a friendly invitation. Of course, some distractions shouldn't be resisted. I just need the wisdom to differentiate between them! LOL

James 4:13-15

Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit"; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this, or that.
